An ageing population poses critical challenges for policy makers, families and individuals alike, however it also brings several opportunities. The PGDip Gerontology (Distance Learning) programme allows you to complete 6 modules in the area of ageing, which can start from an introduction to the study of Gerontology and specialise in topics relating to your own research interests, such as mental health, health and wellbeing, and diversity and rights in later life. Following the completion of the programme, you will be welcome to progress onto the MSc Gerontology (DL) programme by completing the MSc Dissertation, and further enhancing your qualifications and career trajectory.
