Distance learning
This new, distance-learning programme provides you with an in-depth understanding of livestock production and sustainability in a variety of global contexts.
You will learn to address key issues created by the world’s population growth and dramatic rise in demand for livestock and animal products such as meat, milk and eggs.
Find out about the growing competition for land and water, concerns about environmental and health impacts, and the calls for greater efficiency and use of resources.
You’ll gain vital skills needed to work in the sector regardless of whether it’s with the government, advisory and consultancy services, or the private sector.
This is a part-time programme facilitated through distance learning and can be used as a building block for a full MSc qualification.
