Pharmacology and Pain Control Course Virtually anyone involved in any aspect of the medical field has had to deal with issues of pain. Pain is a universal problem, one that the medical sciences have finally begun to pay greater attention to. This course focuses primarily on the pharmacological aspects of pain and pain control. In order to assist those suffering from pain, it is necessary to understand its causes, therefore this course examines in great detail the brain and nervous system. It also endeavours to examine the human experience of pain as well as the body's natural analgesic systems.  Finally, this course aims to explore the pharmacology of pain relief and control and the practice of pain management.
