Course programme

Course detail Description

We will provide you with an understanding of some central issues in general metaphysics and epistemology, in particular issues concerning the ways in which the kind of objectivity possible in evaluative and ethical thought both resembles and differs from the kind of objectivity that is typical of the natural sciences. This will help you to develop different perspectives on problems you may encounter in your professional life.

Teaching

We teach our courses through a mixture of lectures and seminar discussions, although given the relatively small numbers of students on the course, it is possible to incorporate a good deal of discussion within a lecture.
