History

Phoenix Group owns the 3 companies: Phoenix Security, Phoenix Events and Phoenix Training.

Phoenix Security is a provider of security to many venues, whether it is licenced premises, corporate events or hospitality events. Providing security for 15 years means we have many long-term clients and customers who have been loyal to us due to the quality of service we provide.

Phoenix Events is the official partner of West Midlands Fire Service. Phoenix Events provide bespoke organised events for companies, individuals or associations. Phoenix Events has also held evening dinners for various celebrities including Ricky Hatton, Paul Gascoigne, Mike Tyson, Frank Bruno and Jake LaMotta. We have also conducted promotions work for Steve Sutherland. There is always a requirement for Close Protection Operatives when celebrities are involved.

Advantages of studying here

The quality of the training is important when searching for work following receipt of your Close Protection licence. During the course you will produce a portfolio which can be shown to prospective employers. This will show the scenarios you have undertaken during the training, for example, real-life scenarios such as escorting a celebrity away from an over-excited fan or planning a route from a to b to avoid x, y and z.

Explaining that your training has been delivered by a former Royal bodyguard with Phoenix Training is going to make you stand out from the crowd. If this was a degree, it would be like saying you have studied at Oxford University.
