The photo lab worker is the one who deals with the development of films, digital image processing, printing operations and the conversion of photographs into digital images. The photographic laboratory employee takes care of the reworking of the photographs, retouching, modifying and improving the images where necessary or requested by the customer. It also deals with the development and printing of the images. In small laboratories and photography shops open to the public, this professional figure follows the various activities as a whole, while in large laboratories he specializes in a particular role. In general, the work activities he deals with are the following: carrying out photographic post-production operations, re-elaborate the images using special software for photo editing, adapt the images to the print dimensions defined with the customer, convert the images into digital format and carry out operations for the maintenance and updating of the equipment necessary to carry out the work.
