Photoshop for Beginners
Who is this for?
Open to anyone. No photoshop experience required as long as you have basic computer/mouse experience.
What Will I Learn?
How to select, control and edit images in Adobe photoshop. How to repair damaged images. How to combine different photos together. How to add text. How to work confidently with your own images in photoshop.
Content of the Course
This is a basic introduction to using Photoshop. You will learn how to crop, adapt and merge your digital images. You will learn how to add/adapt colour and type within an image and also how to retouch/repair damaged/imperfect images. Later in the course you can work on a personal project involving your own photos and receive more individual tuition. Experience of using a computer and a mouse is required but you do not need any experience of Photoshop. (No concessions available on this course.)
Equipment Needed
None required - but you may want to bring in your own images to scan or on CD or memory card/stick to work on in College.
Work needed to be Done outside of the Classroom
None - you are given a print allowance for the course. Access to Photoshop would be useful.
