Andy has run Highlander for over 25 years and is an Adobe Certified Instructor, Adobe Certified Design Master, CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer and In5 Certified Professional. He specialises in delivering courses at all levels on tools including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects. In recent years Andy has delivered courses for staff from organisations including Burberry, Manchester City FC, Joe Browns, Mishcon de Reya, Bank of England, Aviva, Lloyds Banking Group, LNER, Eversheds, Interflora and a range of NHS, Police and Government organisations.

Course programme

Broken down into short easy to follow sections, the course covers key skills such as working with layers, making accurate selections and using masks. You will learn how to make targeted changes with adjustment layers, remove elements from an image using a range of cloning tools, add and edit text, and apply filters for powerful effects. In addition to learning best practice techniques in Photoshop, you will also gain a better understanding of relevant areas like resolution and colour modes.
