Photoshop Advanced is a 2 day live online course, taught by one of the UK's leading Adobe Certified Instructors with over 20 years experience working with the Adobe design tools including Photoshop. Over 2 days you will learn from an expert instructor in an online environment where you can fully interact with both the instructor and other delegates asking questions and discussing issues you encounter.
About this course
You will build on your existing skills and learn a variety of methods for undertaking more complex selections such as selecting via colour channels or using calculations. You will also dive into more advanced masking techniques using a variety of gradients, effects and filters on your masks, before exploring a wide range of other tools and techniques. By the end of the course you will be more confident making advanced colour correction adjustments, cloning in perspective, using more unusual brushes, warping items and even work with raw images.
This course is aimed at users who are already proficient with the basics of Photoshop and comfortable working with layers, doing basic selections and undertaking day to day tasks in photoshop like resizing images or cropping.
You should be computer literate, and comfortable with standard operating system functionality such as copy and paste or opening new files. As the course is a live online course, you will need a machine with Photoshop installed, and a stable internet connection. For the best experience we also recommend a headset and a second monitor, although the course can be completed without these. As this is a more Advanced course you should already be comfortable with the basics of Photoshop such as working with layers, making selections and navigating the Photoshop interface.
This course is taught on the latest version of Photoshop by Andy Gardiner, an Adobe Certified Instructor with over 20 years experience. In addition to holding Adobe Certified Expert and Adobe Certified Instructor status on Photoshop, Andy is also an Adobe Certified Design Master and a CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer.
Upon receiving your request you will be contact by one of our training advisors, who will be able to answer any questions you have. They will advise on upcoming course dates, as well as other options such as private team training if appropriate.
The course runs as a regular scheduled live online course, meaning you can attend from your own desk, whilst getting a fully interactive experience in which you can chat with the instructor. It can also be delivered as a private course for groups, either online or face to face.
Yes, we offer private courses either face to face or live online. These are popular for small teams of between 3 and 10 people.
