In the second year you will build on your first year knowledge and study further areas such as; further mechanics and thermal physics, fields and nuclear physics. Also in the second year you will be given the option to study an area of physics you are interested in, this could be; astrophysics, engineering physics or electronics.
How will I be taught?
There are 2 sessions every week . One 2 hour and the other 3 hour with a break midway of 30 minutes.Classes have a good broad spectrum of students and we have lively discussions and interaction. There are demonstrations, practical work for each student, note taking and problem solving. Each student is encouraged to take responsibility for their own study. Homework is set on a weekly basis, and tests conducted at the end of each topic .
