History

Sir Isaac Pitman invented a system of shorthand in the 1800's. At first he made it available as home-study and later founded colleges teaching office skills like typing and shorthand. Pitman training as a brand has a history going back over 170 years making it the oldest independent training company in the world and it is still innnovative today.
Pitman Training now has a wide range of courses in all areas of office and business skills; friendly and well-equipped centres and well trained and committed staff.
