Planning, Deploying, and Managing an Enterprise Management Solution (Project Server 2003)

Introduction
The goal of this five-day, instructor-led courseis to provide systems engineers with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectivelyplan, deploy, and manage a Microsoft Office Project Server 2003 solution.

Candidates for this course are IT professionalswho operate in medium to very large computing environments that use theMicrosoft Windows Server 2003 operating system. Typical environments in whichthey work have these characteristics:

During the deployment of a Project Server 2003infrastructure, a systems engineer must know the terminology used in projectmanagement and in Project Server 2003. In this module, the students areintroduced to these terms and how they are used. In addition, the students mustanalyze functional specifications as they are written by the business analystand project manager. This module discusses the components of the functionalspecifications, and the relationships of other job roles in a Project Server2003 solution.
