About the course
Do you want to become a plasterer? Or are you already working as a plasterer? City College Plymouth offers Apprenticeships in Plastering at intermediate or advanced level, leading to NVQ level 2 or level 3 respectively. Our intermediate Apprenticeship is equivalent to GCSEs and will teach you all the basics of plastering, working safely and as part of a team as well as completing functional skills. Our advanced Apprenticeship is equivalent to A Levels and will suit you if youve already learned good competent skills in plastering and have completed the intermediate Apprenticeship. On this advanced level course, you will develop the skills and knowledge to prepare you for working on big commercial developments, small-scale domestic jobs, repairs and restoration. We will delve into the planning and organisational side in more detail. We will also introduce you to technique using more complex internal and external projects. We know our course will excite and challenge you to want to expand your career. Successful completion will greatly enhance employment opportunities and progression.

Entry requirements
Acceptance on this Apprenticeship is via initial assessment. If you wish to progress to the advanced level, you will need GCSE grades 9-4 (A*-C) or an intermediate qualification.
