This is an ideal foundation qualification that supports the delivery and assessment of the basic skills and knowledge required by a range of industries. This course is designed to offer all learners an opportunity to prepare themselves for entry into the plumbing industry.

Course programme
The course is delivered through a combination of classroom and workshop activities. Assessment is carried out through continuous assessment of practical activities, practical assessments and written assignments.
Successful students can progress to the Access to Building Services or an apprenticeship in plumbing, heating, gas or renewable energy (provided they have secured a work placement.)
Subject to interview based on GCSEs, equivalent qualifications and own merit. All learners will need to undertake an industry assessment to help determine the most appropriate course.
