The chicken coop is the breeder or seller of chickens or poultry in general. The chicken is a domestic bird deriving from various wild species of Indian origin. Its presence is documented since 4000 BC in the Indus plain, from which (through Persia) it reached Greece and then Europe. Darwin attributed the paternity only to Gallus gallus bankiva for various reasons, including the similarity of the color of the plumage with that of some domestic breeds, the variability of the subspecies of Gallus gallus depending on the place of diffusion and the fecundity of the eggs deriving from mating with domestic chickens. This position has changed considerably during the twentieth century as a result of hybridization experiences carried out with other wild species. Today it can be said that various species contributed to the creation of the domestic chicken.
