The postman is that professional figure in the postal service, that service, managed by public bodies or private companies, which has as its object the management of correspondence in a given territory at all stages: acceptance or collection, transport, sorting, delivery or distribution of postal parcels. You don't necessarily need a degree to become a postman. Reading the requisites required by Poste Italiane to do a job that hasn't disappeared - despite the fact that today more e-mails and WhatsApp messages are written than letters to be sent with envelopes and stamps - it turns out that a high school diploma is enough, as long as high school wasn't just fun. The postman takes care of sorting and delivering mail to both private citizens and businesses.
