Posturology and Physiotherapy

Here we explain the main parts of the syllabus:

• Neurophysiology and physiopathological bases of the posture.
• Introduction to physiotherapy.
• Anatomy of the musculoskeletal system.
• Biomechanics and analysis of bone structures: surface anatomy, theory of human movement and osteology.
• Locomotor disorders: fractures, scoliosis, skeletal deviations of the foot, hernia, osteoarthritis.
• Diagnostic imaging: computerized tomography, magnetic resonance, ultrasound, radiology, endoscopy, radioprotection elements.
• Tools for clinical evaluation: baropodometry, modular electronics, postural analyzer, podata, bosu.
• Physiotherapy evaluation test.
• Palpation and structural examination.
• Posturology applied to ocular dysfunctions: anatomy and physiology of the eye, problems of accommodation, postural dysfunctions due to dysfunctions.
• Physiotherapy and clinical orthopedics: orthopedic pathologies, physiotherapeutic pathologies (lordosis, kyphosis, scoliosis, etc.), rehabilitation of knee and shoulder, dislocations, instruments of rehabilitation and massage therapy, postural therapy, acupuncture for postural resuscitation.
• Functional clinical evaluation: spinal analysis: Fukuda test, Romberg posture test, Vertical Barrè, De Coyn maneuver and John Littlejohn force lines, proprioceptive training.
• Posturology applied to ocular dysfunctions: anatomy and physiology of the eye, problems of accommodation, postural dysfunctions due to dysfunctions.
• Posturology applied to the dysfunction of the oral cavity: anatomy and physiology of the oral cavity, dentition, gnathology, postural disorders due to gnathological dysfunctions.
• Lumbar pain and ascending syndrome: exercises and postural program.
• Sports physiotherapy and sports pathologies.
• Rheumatology and joint infiltration: exercises and therapy.
• Neuromuscular taping: kinesitherapy and kinesiology.
