Course Summary:
This is a social and creative short course for beginners who want to learn the art of ceramics.
Working at your own pace, you will receive a comprehensive overview in throwing, coiling and hand-building techniques, as well as learning about aesthetic considerations while you pursue self-determined projects.
Each complete piece will be fired and glazed, ready for you to take away with you.
Entry requirements
All adults are welcome, ladies and gents, aged 19+.
There are no formal entry requirements and you need no prior experience.

Course programme

Course Content: Over the four weeks, you will be guided and supported by our dedicated expert facilitator, who will inspire you to create your very own stoneware ceramic pieces using either hand-building, sculpture or throwing techniques. How will I be assessed? There are no assessment criteria - just observe, have a go and enjoy! Are there any additional costs or specialist equipment required?
