Our Pottery course introduces you to traditional and contemporary skills, taught by a practising ceramicist in our spacious and well-equipped studio.
If you are a beginner you will enjoy learning the basic techniques; if you have some experience already you will be challenged with new materials, and new making and decorating processes.
Ten-week sessions begin with Hand-building in the first term, Throwing on the potter's wheel in the second term and Experimental pottery techniques in the third term.
Some basic materials will be supplied throughout the course but you may need to purchase further specialist materials such as specialist clays and glazes.
Recruitment - if we do not recruit to our target numbers we will try to offer the courses at reduced hours. If a course does not recruit enough students to run, you will receive a refund. Please refer to the Adult Course Guide for guidance on other refund issues.
