Reviews
Course programme
Course review:
It is essential that power presses are properly inspected, tested, and maintained as these high risk machines can inflict serious injury. Not only must a 'competent person' examine and test the machines periodically, the setter must also check them each time before they are used. Adequate training is necessary to meet legal requirements and to guard against injury. The course includes individual practical instruction and a pass or fail assessment at the end of the course.
Who should attend?
Power press tool setters and other appointed 'competent persons'.
