Knowing your way around the pacing lab - Vascular access - Principles of pacing - Programming a pacemaker - Clinical scenarios - Implantation technique - Complications and their management. Suitable for: Junior Cardiology StRs (StR3/4) You will get to grips with aspects of pacing which are traditionally poorly taught, such as temporary pacing as well as giving you an opportunity to get some great tips on lead selection/manipulation in difficult cases. F1 - ST2s with a career interest in Cardiology Demonstrates 'commitment' to specialty - SHOs about to start a Cardiology StR rotation, LAT, or Clinical Fellow post. This course will provide you with the skills to hit the ground running. Cath-lab staff (cardiac physiologists/nurses/radiographers).
