Introduction to the cardiac catheter lab - Equipment preparation - Vascular access - Coronary anatomy and radiographic projections - Equipment preparation - Left and right heart study - Haemostasis and vascular closure devices. Suitable for: F1 - ST2s with a career interest in Cardiology Demonstrates 'commitment' to specialty - SHOs about to start a Cardiology StR rotation, LAT, or Clinical Fellow post. Junior Cardiology StRs (StR3/4) You will get to grips with aspects of angiography which are traditionally poorly taught, such as radiographic views etc. as well as giving you an opportunity to get some great tips.
