Course programme
The FdSc is called a Foundation degree, and takes three years of blended learning to complete on a part-time basis. Blended learning involves learning through a blended combination of face-to-face methods and at a distance. The distance-learning modules cover a wide and varied range of topics across analytical, inorganic, organic and physical chemistry, and are complemented by a week of face-to-face laboratory work to be completed in the department usually during the last full week before Easter.
