During this course participants will be taught a safe and effective way to massage pregnant clients. At the end of the day participants will be confident in delivering a pregnancy massage.

Instruction includes the use of the Hot water mattress. This is a very popular treatment widely used on the continent. Having the mother to be lying down on a hot water mattress is both comforting and also a simple way of reducing any stress and stiffness in muscles and joints. Participants will learn how to prepare the mattress and a full body massage routine which, can also be applied to clients who have difficulty turning over and are less mobile. Participants will learn how easy it is to massage these clients by sliding their hands in between the back of the client and the mattress, using the clients own body weight as the determining pressure applied.
