Aimed at students who are already working with horses, you will learn how to prepare horses for presentation by exploring topics such as handling, fitting tack, trimming, grooming, plaiting, assisting with clipping and exercising horses from the ground. Within this practical course, which uses the college yard, you will discover the different feeds, examine horse health and anatomy and be expected to work horses from the ground including lungeing and long reining.
