You’ll consider complex information, present ideals clearly to others, participate in discussions and adapt your contributions to suit an audience, purpose and situation.
ReadingSelect, read, understand and compare texts and use them to gather information, ideas, arguments and other opinions. You’ll be able to obtain and use relevant information, summarise ideas from different sources, identify and comment of the purpose of texts, detect bias, analyse texts in relation to audience needs and consider suitable responses in relation to three or more texts.
WritingWrite a range of texts, including extended written documents, communicating information, ideas and opinions effectively and persuasively. You’ll learn to present information logically, concisely, and use various writing styles for different purposes. Finally, you’ll consider sentence structure, grammar, and punctuation to ensure you communicate with your audiences effectively.
