The course is designed to provide for managers and care support workers an
introduction to the basic skills required when caring for clients who have the potential to develop pressure sores or are already suffering from topical wounds.
This unit is relevant to workers who are directly engaged in personal care to
clients in all care settings – hospital, residential, day- or foster-care or in
the client’s own home.
