PRINCE2 stands for PRojects IN Controlled Environments – a tried tested and proven framework for running projects. It is process-based meaning that it guides you through each of the management stages of the project from pre-project, its beginning, middle, and end whilst providing you with a checklist of activities for each of the processes within each stage. And, once these checklists are followed, it’s hard for you to go wrong.
The method is also complemented by the use of themes which are different aspects of the project that must be considered and continually addressed whilst delivering the project. Finally, there is tailoring i.e. not applying the method rigidly without tweaking it, as the framework allows, to suit the characteristics of the project being delivered.

Method of Assessment:
You need to pay £379 for Official PRINCE2® 2017 Foundation & Practitioner Exam.
PRINCE2® Foundation level
- 60-minute exam duration
- 60 Multiple choice questions
- Closed book
- 36/60 required to pass = 60% pass mark
PRINCE2® Practitioner Exam Format:
The Practitioner exam focuses on your ability to implement PRINCE2® in real-life scenarios:
- 68 multiple choice questions
- Duration: 2.5 hours
- 38/68 pass mark (55%)
- Open book (official PRINCE2® manual only)
Both the PRINCE2® Foundation and the PRINCE2® Practitioner exams can be written from home using a proctor device or your webcam. Official exam can be requested/ booked when you are ready to take your Exam (Need minimum 3 weeks’ notice to book your exam with us).
