PRINCE2 Agile®

Introduction

PRINCE2 Agile® combines the flexibility of Agile methods with the PRINCE2 framework.

This 3-day course works as an add-on module for those who have passed PRINCE2 Practitioner, providing guidance on applying Agile practices to the PRINCE2 method.

This BCS-accredited course includes a PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner exam based on the 2015 PRINCE2 Agile Handbook.

Pre-Course Reading

Before the course begins, we will send you the pre-course work, which consists of reading the first 3 chapters of the PRINCE2 Agile handbook. We recommend you complete this work as it will help you during your training and increase your chances of success in the exam.

Upon booking, joining instructions that describe the course location and other administrative details will also be emailed. In addition, delegates will be required to complete a minimum of 2 hours homework each evening which will be set by the instructor.

Course Pre-Requisites

All delegates must hold a current PRINCE2 Practitioner certificate, prior to attending.

All delegates will be required to bring a current copy of their PRINCE2 Practitioner Certificates upon attendance on the course.

PRINCE2 Agile® Practitioner exam

This is a 50 question multiple choice examination with a pass mark of 60%, or 30/50. Success in this examination indicates that you understand Agile concepts and are able to apply and tailor them to a PRINCE2 project environment.

Course Objectives

• Understand the basic concepts of common Agile ways of working
• Understand the purpose and context for combing PRINCE2 and the Agile way of working
• Be able to apply and evaluate the focus areas to a project in an agile context
• Be able to fix and flex the six aspects of a project in an agile context
• Be able to apply or tailor the PRINCE2 principles, themes, processes and management products to a project in an agile context
• To learn through the use of theory and practical exercises
• To prepare delegates for the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner exam

Course Structure

The Knowledge Academy PRINCE2 Agile® is a 3 day course. The course involves familiarisation with the content of the PRINCE2 Agile® handbook, preparing for the Practitioner examination.
