Printed Circuit Board Design, Manufacture and Test
Aim:
To provide skills in PCB design, manufacture and test. Apply instrumentation and testing skills to a practical circuit.

Length of Study:
18 weeks with tutor support.

Entry Requirements:
Candidates should have an understanding to electrical circuit theory, standard electronic schematic diagrams symbols. Use conventional test equipment such as multimeters, function generators and oscilloscopes.

Contents:
On completion of this unit the candidate should be able to: Use an Electronic Design Software Package to Design a Printed Circuit Board artwork. Manufacture a PCB. Populate a PCB. Verify the operation of a populated PCB.
