Printmaking for Greetings Cards

Printmaking Afternoon Workshop The Electric Theatre, Guildford

This workshop is the perfect opportunity to learn how to do linocut and make some high quality, interesting greetings cards at the same time. The workshop will focus on developing and creating a series of different designs and create ideas that then can be printed or mounted onto cards. We will show you how to prepare your image, cut the block, prepare for printing and most importantly print your cards. All specialist materials provided (including cards) but we recommend you bring along some images and ideas.

No previous experience of printmaking is necessary – just bring along a few ideas or images to work with and we will help you do the rest. Materials provided.

Date and Time: Saturday 19th May 2012, 1pm-5pm

Price: £25 per person (including materials and use of tools) or £22 concessions.
