This Private Investigation Level 3 course from Open Study College lets you explore what it is like to be an investigator. You will learn about different types of investigations, the history of investigation and the legal implications. You will also learn the art of surveillance and will gain tips for tracing and for process serving.

      This course is conveniently designed for home study, so you can study whenever and from wherever you would like. The course will take approximately 80 hours to complete and will be assessed through a series of written assignments. There is no time limit to complete the requirements, so you can work at your own pace. You'll also have access to friendly, experienced tutors who will guide you every step of the way.

      At the end of this course, successful learners will receive a level 3 NCFE Award certificate of achievement, signifying that the course is independently accredited at a level of learning equivalent to level 3 on The Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) for England, Wales and Northern Ireland. NCFE is recognised as an Awarding Organisation by the qualification regulators for England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
