About this module
You will be involved in decision making within your professional practice and should have an understanding of the theories and procedures that underlie outcomes of both individual thought processes and those of the team. Custom and practice, unless it is supported by well-reasoned and effective evidence, should not be considered as acceptable grounds for any decision that is made.
In this module you will use cases from practice as a basis for critical analysis and evaluation of how professional reasoning influences practice. You will also critically evaluate how professional reasoning may influence and improve future practice.
This module is distance learning, delivered online and equates to 200 hours of study. Students will be supported by a module tutor via phone, skype and/or email.
