Overview of the programme The Graduate Certificate in Professional Development (Education) provides you with Continuing Professional Development (CPD) which will enable you to meet the NQT standards it is designed to provide professional development for practising teachers.   Both programmes aim to link theory with course participants’ own practice so that real benefits will be felt by both Newly Qualified Teachers and their schools.

The course is designed to provide professional development for practising teachers and is accredited by the University of Wales. Participants are required to study and achieve 60 credits in order to gain the Graduate Certificate in Professional Development (Education). The Graduate Diploma in Professional Development (Education) is made up of a number of different modules which may be grouped together.
