Professional Doctorate in Biomedical Science

This Professional Doctorate is designed for advanced practitioners in biomedical science laboratories who already hold an MSc (or equivalent) in Biomedical Science and have extensive experience (five years plus) in a biomedical science laboratory. The course combines analytical appraisal of your continuing practice with a major research project (at a similar level to a PhD project), which may be undertaken in the workplace laboratory, or with one of the active biomedical science research groups in our Research Institute in Healthcare Science. You will be able to attend for one full day per week, in order to minimise your time away from work.
