Course programme
This course is designed to follow on from the Warwick PGCE programme to upgrade it into a full MA in Professional Education. You can choose to take this anytime over the five year period that your 90 CATS points are valid for, but we recommend that you start it within a year or two of your PGCE, as this course is designed to sit alongside a full-time teaching role.
- Part A: Foundation Research Methods in Education
- Part B: Dissertation
Foundation Research Methods in Education is an online module delivered by Warwick's Centre for Education Studies. The dissertation is individually supervised by a member of academic staff, from the Centre for Teacher Education. Tutorials can be either by Skype or on the Warwick campus.
Assessment:
Assessments are spread across the course and focus on professional and academic competences through assignments, academic posters and directed tasks.
