As a successful graduate you will have a desirable qualification for career progression, including highly sought after jobs within early years and education.

Further opportunities for successful students include progression onto early years teacher or wider teacher training programmes or studying at master’s level towards an award in a relevant field of interest, for example MA in Education, MSc in Child Protection and Adult Safeguarding or MSc in Mental Health and Well-Being in Education.

About this course

Students will have 240 credits within a specialist subject area so will have knowledge and critical understanding of their area of study and the way in which those principles have been developed. Students will be able to articulate and apply those principles in an employment context as a competent practitioner. It is expected that students will normally be employed but must have access to at least 6 hours of work experience per week.
