About this course

Standard entry to this course requires one reference. It is desirable that you can demonstrate 90 attendance at your last place of work or study. You are required to have 4 GCSEs grade 4 (C) or above to include English and maths. Consideration will be given to all applicants over the age of 19, who do not hold formal English and maths qualifications.

Course programme

Year 1

You will complete an extended project to create your very own computer game using all the skills that you learn on the BTEC programme. You will develop your skills and prepare you for a career in field of computer game development or associated industries. During the course you will develop skills in the use industry standard software packages including Unity 3D, Visual Studio, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Assessment is by a variety of different methods such as exercises, practical labs and assignments.
