Aims and Objectives
Use the OO features of Java.
Learn how to handle errors in Java programs using exceptions.
Create stand-alone console applications.
Create multi-threaded programs.

Target Audiences
This course is aimed at delegates who are considering or are moving into developing business applications using Java along with delegates who are preparing for the Sun Certified Java Programmer and Developer certification examinations.

Prerequisites
Delegates should have at least 6 months experience in a modern programming language such as C, C++ or Visual Basic, and should have an appreciation of OO principles.
