Course programme
This course allows you to learn photography in an enjoyable way. You will achieve a Coleg Gwent Certificate in photography, but the emphasis for the course is on building skills and enjoying photography.
You will cover:
- Shutter/aperture/ISO
- Composition
- Experimental angles
- Metering
- Photoshop manipulations
- Landscape photography
- Manual mode
- Portrait photography
The course is structured around learning a topic or subject in class on a weekly basis, then photographing in relation to that photographic area over the next week. There will be several location trips/field trips throughout the course and you will get feedback from tutors and peers on a weekly basis, via slideshow, of student imagery with a group critique.
This course is for anyone who works or wants to improve with their photography, get to know their camera better or challenge themselves with artistic photography.
