Course programme
If you have an interest in Psychology and Politics, these degree options are ideal. An important aim of Psychology is to explain human relations, understand human thinking and decision making and understand how we make sense of the world we live in. Some of the questions that arise are ‘why do leaders act the way they do?’, ‘what types of people make good leaders?’ and ‘how do individuals make sense of their political world?’ all of which are important in political science. Being able to understand phenomena such as terrorism, genocide and how to develop trust across international communities are central to international relations and are enhanced by the study of psychology.
