A useful introduction to the world of psychology, covering areas such as memory, obedience, child development and criminal behaviour.

What does the course involve?
Psychology gives you insight into human behaviour: have you ever wonderd why people commit crime? Are they born criminals, or have they learned this? Why do people obey orders, even if those orders are harmful? How does our memory work?

If you are interested in any of these questions this will be a fascinating course to study. It is also extremely useful for progression to areas such as law, medicine, social services, teaching and business, to name but a few.

What will I study?
Studies in Psychology 1 Sex and gender, memory, attachment, obedience and atypical behaviour.

Studies in Psychology 2 Criminal behaviour, perception, cognitive development, non-verbal communication and the self.

Research in Psychology You will also study this research methods unit.
