Course programme

This course prepares you for undergraduate study in psychology. You develop your personal and academic skills, while exploring a range of topics.

Through problem-based learning, we introduce you to sub-disciplines of psychology: cognitive, developmental, clinical, biological and social. You gain transferable skills by giving presentations, taking part in seminar discussions and writing essays.

Topics may include depression, prejudice, autism or addiction. You choose an option from areas including:

  • literature, film and history
  • law, politics and sociology
  • business, management and economics
  • global studies and languages.

These modules are running in the academic year 2018/19. We also plan to offer them in future academic years. They may become unavailable due to staff availability, student demand or updates to our curriculum. We’ll make sure to let our applicants know of such changes to modules at the earliest opportunity.
