The aim of this module is to introduce you to a range of skills and competencies when delivering psychosocial interventions within your specific workplace. This knowledge and education includes enhanced assessment and engagement skills.

- Stress Vulnerability model

Motivational techniques will be introduced to enable the development of linking formulations to evidence-based psychosocial interventions. ABC model of psychosis, working with people who hear voices, and solution focused therapy will be introduced to you to assist your development and understanding of the underpinning values of such interventions. You will be expected to extend existing person-centred skills to develop and enhance your ability to communicate effectively with patients/clients, their family/carers and other health professionals.
