Whether you're looking to go on to further education, improve your job prospects or expand your knowledge, distance learning Psychotherapy is a flexible and convenient course, which allows you to comprehensively prepare for a exam or career through home study. What's more, because the distance learning Level 3 Psychotherapy course is a fully comprehensive course, no prior knowledge is required.
"It is essential in this day and age, that serious consideration be given to those cases of neurotic disorder which arise because of the problems which exist between people."
Psychotherapy is essentially the listening to, and the talking with clients whose problems and anxieties have become too great a burden to cope with alone. Its aim is to help the troubled individual to understand and to resolve their predicament. Most therapy which is carried out is brief, which can mean anything from one to twenty-five sessions. A training course should teach a therapist to work briefly. This Psychotherapy course is formulated specifically to train the student to work briefly by design rather than default.
