About

Courses are divided into modules. You will normally take*:

  • MSc: modules totalling 180 credits

  • PG Dip: modules totalling 120 credits
  • PG Cert: modules totalling 60 credits

(*to be considered for an award you must have completed and passed to the satisfaction of the relevant Assessment Board the minimum number of modules required at each exit or progression point).

You will first study four foundation modules required for the Pg Cert. If you complete all four modules you can choose to exit the course with a Pg Cert Public Health or continue. Next you will study four advanced modules. If you complete all four modules you can choose to exit the course with a Pg Diploma or continue. Finally, you will study four dissertation modules. If you complete all four modules you will exit the course with an MSc.
