  • Students must complete all core modules and take Specialist Practice in SCPHN OR Specialist Practice in SCPHN including V100.

Additional information

We’ve designed our course so that it meets the necessary requirements of the NMC for registering the qualification of Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN). 

If you’ve completed the PG Diploma, 52 weeks full time and 104 part time, this meets the requirements you need to record your NMC qualification. You can also exit with a post-graduate diploma after 52 weeks or (104 weeks part time). Equally, you could also decide to continue for a further 16 months in order to complete the dissertation module and gain the full MSc.
