Public Service (Extended Diploma)

Year 1 In the first year, you will study for the 90-Credit Diploma in Public Service and in the second year you will add to this qualification to achieve the full Extended Diploma. There is a range of core and optional units which include human behaviour, citizenship and contemporary issues, teamwork and leadership. You will also examine major incidents, How they are dealt with and what causes disasters. Year 2 In year two, areas of study include criminology, law and the legal system, international perspectives and The democratic process. These units will build and extend your learning from year one. You will also have the opportunity to carry out your own research on the local area and to address issues such as equal opportunities and cultural awareness. Life after Henley Last year students went on to a variety of destinations including university places at Brighton, Central Lancashire, Nottingham Trent, Hertfordshire, Bristol and Bournemouth.
