About this course
BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Public Services with a Level 2 Merit - other Level 3 courses may also be considered. Alternatively, students can apply to join a public service, but will need to satisfy their entry requirements and pass the selection process.
Five GCSEs at grade D or above. English and Maths at a minimum D/E grade.

Course programme
Most of the units studied will be internally assessed by your lecturers through assignments. Examples of typical evidence that you may be asked to produce include reports, presentations, posters, leaflets, and the demonstration of practical skills in fitness and outdoor units or in role plays. Two units are externally assessed using tests.
