The course will provide you with the broader knowledge, understanding and skills required for success in both front line and management roles in the public sector.
The HNC in Public Services will introduce you to criminological theories used to explain and provide solutions for the social problems with which public services deal. You will become familiar with models of crime management and critically examine current public service policies.
You will connect classroom learning with real life situations in public service provision.
The course will help you to identify, acquire and develop transferable skills and knowledge which will prepare you for applying for jobs in both the public services and beyond.
